The company was formed in 1969 as the Cardiff Lock & Spring Company and occupied a small premises on Clifton Street. In 1987 the name was changed to the Cardiff Lock & Safe Company, which coincided with a move to a larger premises along the same street. 1n 1992 the present owners bought the company.
The company is a member of the Master Locksmiths Association and includes staffs that are members of the British Locksmiths Institute.
At present we supply systems to a number of organisations, such as the University of Wales Cardiff, B.T., Principality Building Society and Royal Mail. We hope to continue to attract other organisations, while still offering a service that is value to both commercial and domestic customers.
We specialise in the sale, installation, maintenance and repair of locks & safes and offer a comprehensive key cutting service. We also stock specialist key systems such as Abloy, Medeco, Mul-T-Lock and Yale Pro-Key.
